Thank you Sharon, we try to keep everyone updated with our blog as well. We hope to be starting our Home study in November now that we have almost all the funds needs for next step since that information is time sensitive. We have to make our decision on country by 3rd visit and were leaning towards Hong Kong since we don’t qualify financially for China. However there are currently no girls younger than my youngest child (8) so we are now leaning towards Bulgaria and adopting sibling groups which are also hard to place. We have found 2 groups of 3 girls where at least one is younger than my son. Once our home study is complete we will be looking at applying for grants as it will be very expensive to adopt siblings. However we have maintained that is GODs plan and will happen in his time.

I am so glad I finally found you. Your video I like adoption was sent to me via facebook about a year ago and led to my family wanting to adopt some sort of special needs or sibling ground internationally. We received you video on a Saturday night and watched it multiple time with our four biological children (16, 12, 9 & 8). My daughter who is now 16 was just amazed at all the thinks George could do with his feet including play the song how he loves redone by the david crowder band. It was confirmed for us the very next day that this is what GOD wanted us to do after we were in church and the band played that exact same song during the offering and my husband and I just cried. I keep a print out of those words at my desk at work and every time a decision has needed to be made that song magically plays on the radio. We are working with Bethany Christian service out of Columbia SC and when we started I heard that George had just spoken at a fund raiser with his wife and I missed it. Earlier this week I got the one and only magazine LifeLine that I have gotten since we began working with them in December 2013 and George is on the cover leading me to this blog. Truely a GOD thing, actually our whole adoption process as been since it is so very expensive to adopt and with 4 children still at home. Thank you for sharing, I look forward to sharing with my children as my boys always ask when are our sisters coming home.

Hi Nicole: Thanks so much for sharing your story. It’s so encouraging for me to hear about how God continues to use the I Like Adoption video! Keep me posted on your adoption journey.
